Rules at Amager Cup  

Rules (U13, U15, U17 categories):

Games are played according to FIBA rules with the following exceptions:

• Games are 2*15 minutes running clock. Clock is only stopping the last 3 minutes of the second half 
• Max 4 personal fouls.
• 6 team fouls per half (free throw shooting on the 7th) 
• 1 timeout per period 
• Running substitutions (when game is stopped) 
• We don’t play with backcourt on court 1 and 3 in Amagerhallen 
• We play 4v4 in grandprix, unless both coaches agree to play 5v5 
• No overtime is played in group games. Games may end in a tie.
• In playoff games 2 min. extra periods are played if no winner is found in ordinary time. If a winner is still not found the winner will be found through sudden death (possession at start of sudden death is given according to possession-arrow). No timeouts are allowed in extra periods. 
• Protest following a game shall be handed in to cup management no later than 10 min after the game together with a protest payment of 500 kr. which will be returned if the protest is accepted.

In U13 and U13 grandprix, we are playing with kids 3’s. So the team is rewarded 3 point from shots made outside the paint area.
